Harald Perten Prize winners announced at ICC Beijing

The Harald Perten Prize was established in 1990 and is awarded at the annual International Cereals Conference (ICC) for outstanding achievements in science, research, teaching or transmission of knowledge which serve cereal sciences and technology.  The 14th ICC Cereal and Bread Congress was held in Beijing, China, August 6-9. This ICC meeting  - held in conjunction with the Chinese Cereals and Oil association - was attended by more than 700 delegates.  This year the Harald Perten Prize was awarded to two Chinese scientists; Prof. Ms. Hui Sun and Prof. Mr. Wang Qiang; two prominent researchers who have made significant research within Cereal Chemistry.
