Purchasing  beans

When purchasing coffee beans, moisture content is critical. The AM 5200 Moisture Meter determines moisture in whole beans in just 10 seconds. It uses UGMA technology developed by the US Department of Agriculture and offers superior accuracy. It's easy to use and confidently operated by non-technical staff. It's rugged and can be placed in many different environments.

Bean Roasting and Instant Coffee Production

For producers of roasted coffee and instant coffee NIR (infrared spectroscopy) instruments offer huge benefits. NIR instruments can determine moisture in beans as well as in ground coffee and coffee powder. They can also determine color/degree of roast and caffeine. Being able to determine these parameters instantaneously provides great opportunities for savings and the investment is often paid back in a few months.
