Operation and handling

The RVA is a powerful and flexible yet easy to use viscometer. A full viscometric analysis is performed through a few simple steps.

RVA-Super4, RVA-4 and RVA-TecMaster with TCW3 Software

	Open the appropriate RVA method in TCW software. Accurately weigh your sample and water using an electronic balance.
	Place a paddle into the canister, mix and push down any sample lumps.
	Slide the paddle into the RVA motor coupling. Depress the tower to lower the canister into the RVA and start the test.
	The viscosity of the sample will be graphed on the monitor. The test will end automatically and analysis results will be reported.

RVA StarchMaster

	Select the appropriate RVA  method using the instrument keypad. Accurately weigh your sample and water using an electronic balance.
	Place a paddle into the canister, mix and push down any sample lumps.
	Slide the paddle into the RVA motor coupling. Depress the tower to lower the canister into the RVA and start the test.
	Depress the tower to lower the canister into the RVA and start the test. The viscosity of the sample will be graphed in real time.
	The test will end automatically and analysis results will be reported.
