Perten Instruments serves its customers through 4 business areas: Grain, Flour, Food and Feed. This organization helps us keep a strong focus on our customers’ business and their needs.

Grain
Business Area Grain comprises grain trading organizations, grain breeders and all grain processing companies except flour millers. Perten has more than 40 years experience from these businesses and is very well established in the industry.

Flour
This Business Area includes flour milling, bake mix production, baking, and pasta. Flour is where Perten Instruments once started, and it is the industry where our analytical methods such as Falling Number and Glutomatic have had the greatest impact.

Food
Business Area Food includes those of our customers who are involved in the final stages of the food production chain, such as dairy companies, snack food producers, meat processors and many more.

Feed
Feed and petfood manufacturers, as well as their suppliers such as meat & bone meal producers, are served through Business Area Feed. Although it is not the first industry we got involved with, we have worked with feed manufacturers for more than 20 years and have many long-standing relationships.
