Perten Instruments offers PInet network services to Inframatic 9100 and 9200 users - grain and flour milling laboratories which perform whole grain analyses. The PInet network provides instrument performance supervision, calibration updates for new varieties, as well as NIR expertise.

The administrator of the PInet network is an independant third party which acts as a base of confidence between farmers, grain receivals, traders and processers regarding the correctness of the analysis results. However, PInet networks could also be run within an organisation with several sites, in order to rationalise quality assurance work.

PInet networks have been set up in USA, Germany, France, China, the UK and a number of other countries.
