Perten Instruments offers PInet network services to Inframatic 9140 users. The PInet network provides calibration updates, instrument performance supervision as well as NIR expertise.

Most commonly, the administrator of the PInet network is an independent third party organisation that provides the service while maintaining full confidentiality. However, PInet networks could also be run within an organization with several sites, in order to rationalise quality assurance work and minimize the requirements for local NIR support and reference analysis. The use of ONE single laboratory for reference analysis eliminates the natural variations between the laboratories, and ensures equal test results within the group of instruments.

PInet grain and flour networks have been set up in USA, Germany, France, China, the UK and a number of other countries.
