Features and benefits

Superior sample handling

With the automated sample handling, the results are fast, repeatable and accurate. Once scoped in to the instrument, the sample is packed automatically to a known and consistent packing density, providing unequalled repeatability.
All issues relating to the use of sample cups are now history, including the cumbersome cup cleaning, the result variations from pockets of air voids in the sample, the glass being scratched resulting in cup-to-cup variations, the glass falling out of the cups, the extra space required for sample loading equipment and other issues having adverse influence on your operation.

Official approval

The Inframatic 9140 is the only NIR instrument built using the patented technology approved by the AACC for ash measurement, ref. 08-21

LAN connectivity

The Inframatic 9140 can be managed remotely, using a standard Local Area Network connection, using the optional LAN Interface module.

Fast, accurate and easy analysis

The analysis time is a mere 30 s. thanks to the automated sample presentation system keeping the required operator intervention is minimal. The sample chamber is easy to clean, avoiding cross contamination between samples and the following analysis can start in only seconds.

Network capabilities

Using the PINS software package with the Inframatic 9140, a large number of units can be managed centrally, ensuring that only up-to-date calibrations are used. The central management reduces the inter laboratory differences, as natural variations in reference testing between laboratories no longer influences the NIR analysis results.

Sample temperature measurement

The sample temperature measurement provides important information, and may be used to correct analytical results. In addition, the product temperature measurement is valuable to avoid bagging at too high temperatures, as this may promote mould growth.
